Blue Sea Motor Inn

You just have to remember this is a 2 star motel and keep expectations realistic. Our room was very clean (no dust anywhere that I could see, and I’m picky) and very spacious. Our room was in a 2 story building nowhere near the water with views overlooking the highway and a dune. Staff gave us good directions to get there. If you want something fancier, this isn’t the place, but it’s convenient to bus line to Provincetown. We were our so much we were barely there.

SCAM! We booked this motel only because of its location. We wanted to enjoy a couple of days where we could walk out of our room with our kids and be on the beach in a minute. We spent the rest of our vacation in some random motel at a side of the road, so this was supposed to be special. Once we got there we were directed to a secondary location, some random building down the street, on the opposite side of the street from the beach. NOWHERE during check out was I informed that the "dunes view" means the dunes by busy and loud Rt6 away from the beach. Unless you read through their entire website, you will not be informed there is a second location. If you Google the Blue Sea Motor Inn, it will NOT show you the secondary location. We could've just stayed at the motel we were in for half the price. Such a scam! Not to mention the front desk lady said she had no rooms left at the main location to move us, which was a lie. Upon checking online, they had availability for our dates for cheaper rooms than ours on the beach side. Will never book again. Oh, check out the pictures of our beautiful "Dunes view".

We loved our stay at the Blue Sea Motor Inn. Basic but clean rooms, awesome location, beautiful beaches and easy bike ride into P'town. Will definitely stay here again, very cute and "old Cape Cod" vibe! One thing to note, the Dune View rooms are in a separate location across 6A and not right on the beach. They have balconies that overlook the dunes and a lake (at least ours did on the 2nd floor). There is the highway in the view as well but was not loud or distracting from the lovely view! We booked in short notice for an impromptu vacation and loved that it was not a 2-night minimum like some other places in the area. Next time, we will book further in advance to get a beach-side room and stay for longer!
